Spring Sundays Beginners & Improvers

A Sunday morning sailing course for local sailors suitable for novices and upwards, aged 8 plus.  Children will be working towards their RYA Stages 1 to 2.

Stage 1

A basic understanding of how a boat sailing, with some experience of steering and handling the boat.

Stage 2

A range of sailing skills and knowledge to help in becoming a confident sailor.

Skills learnt include: Launching and recovery, steering, parts of the boat, basic sailing skills, ropework and collision avoidance.
