Clubhouse and Club Activities
Mawes Sailing Club is open to all ages for the enjoyment of both on and off the water activities.
The Club runs a full programme of on the water activities throughout the Spring, Summer, and Autumn, as well as a lively Clubhouse throughout the year catering for the Club's onshore activities.
Stoneworks Quay, in St Mawes is the Club's own waterside facility for dinghy and outboard engine storage and is also home to our Junior Sail Training programme. There is a dedicated training room for sail tuition, together with toilet and shower facilities. The Club's fleet of sailing dinghies and support boats are also kept here.
RYA Training Centre, which includes a Junior Sail Training section offering tuition for junior members to the worldwide renowned high standards of teaching, safety and equipment laid down by the RYA.
Club Moorings, the Club holds licences for several moorings in the Percuil river, some of which are available for rental on an annual basis by Members of St Mawes Sailing Club.
The Clubhouse, overlooking the harbour, has a bar, lounges, television, wi-fi and shower facilities. Sailors' Suppers are served on Thursday evenings throughout the sailing season and when there are evening talks.
Clock Cottage, a studio apartment for two, is available to Club and Associated members, their friends and visiting yachtsmen at discounted rates.
