Junior Race Week 2009: 17th - 21 August 2009

Briefing on 17th August at 12:30 in the Memorial Hall

Junior Race Week is a fantastic introduction to racing or an ideal opportunity to hone your racing skills. About 90 young sailors took part in the week of dinghy racing in St Mawes Harbour in 2008 and we're hoping for a similar number in 2009. The entry fee of £30 covers the event expenses and funds new equipment for the Junior Sailing section.

Racing takes place each morning with a briefing on Sunday 17th August for sailors and parents. At the end of the week there's a BBQ on Summers Beach (weather permitting). Parents man rescue boats, assist the race officer, manage sign on/off and heaps of other jobs both on and off the water.
